DIY Button Wreath

Introducing my DIY button wreath! It’s time for the October Supply of the Month Challenge with Oriental Trading, and this month it is all about buttons. I was challenged to make something using this pack of bright rainbow craft buttons and came up with this colorful burlap and button wreath. Is it any surprise that I would choose to make a wreath? 😉 I don’t craft with buttons or burlap very often, but I thought the two would work well together to create a cozy feel.

The burlap flowers were really simple to make, and you can change up the color of the burlap and the buttons that you use to match your home decor or a particular holiday. I have my new wreath hanging on the door to my craft room and plan on keeping it up year round!

I used the buttons to decorate the wreath as well as the flowers. You can add more buttons if you like to create a denser look. You can even cover the entire wreath form in buttons if you want! This is a fun weekend project that you can do in a couple hours. I think this would look pretty for Christmas with red poinsettia-like flowers!
