Anthropologie Craft Night

I’m so excited to share the details of the Anthropologie Mother’s Day craft night that I hosted last week here in San Antonio! It was such a fun evening and I was thrilled that 30 people came out to stamp some tea towels with me!

A few women brought their moms to spend some time crafting together, which I thought was super sweet. One grandma brought her 5 year old granddaughter to make a surprise tea towel for her mom of Mother’s Day – how precious is that? Here she is doing an incredible job on her towel:

As expected, the Anthro store team did an amazing job setting up the event and styling the space with the supplies I had brought. They are sure a talented bunch. We had a rainbow of Martha Stewart craft paints to choose from and all sorts of interesting stamps that I had collected from potato mashers, to wine corks, to toy blocks.

I created several sample tea towels in advance to provide some inspiration and they looked so cute hanging from a clothesline in the store!

I had fun coming up with little ‘packages’ at each place setting. Each crafter had a bundle of brushes tied with multi-colored yarn and an instruction sheet which I place face-side down and decorated with some of the stamps on the back. In the cellophane bags were little pom-pom gift tags I made in case they planned to give their tea towel as a gift.

It was such a treat to have new San Antonio friends and fellow bloggers come out for the event!

I was honestly so amazed by the creativity of each person there. I loved that every towel turned out so uniquely beautiful.

This was one of my favorite towels of the evening – doesn’t this remind you of a vintage tablecloth? So gorgeous!

Of course, the Anthro team provided some yummy treats and sweet tea as a nod to our tea towel crafting. 😉

It was such a fun night – thanks so much to Anthropologie for having me!
