Hi I was looking for the tutorial for this item i found on pintrest. http://pinterest.com/pin/210050770093637659/could you help?
Hi Julia! I'm so sorry but those balloons are not one of my projects and I'm not sure why they are linking to my site. If you do find the original source please do let me know and I'll direct any further inquiries there. They are pretty balloons - for what it's worth, I think all you need to do is buy some tulle, cut it in to pieces big enough to cover the balloon and then tie around the base of the balloon with a ribbon / string. It looks like these are then embellished with some type of paper flower. Best of luck!
Well, I tried the tulle balloons and they are too heavy to float! I was so excited to use them at a wedding shower I am having. Oh well!
So I actually tried these tulle balloons this weekend - I felt so bad that people were coming to my blog for a DIY that didn't exist! Well, I had the same issue, the tulle makes them too heavy to float. I wish I could get to the source of this pin, as it definitely seems like false advertising. Sorry everyone!
Google is pretty awesome because you can search by picture. Just right click the picture and hit google search for this image.
Bespokeballoonery.com has similar tulle wrapped balloon pictures.. . The balloon is HUGE though, not your average helium balloon
Thanks for the tip Emily! Someone else suggested using big balloons, so that may be the trick. I will pick some up the next time I'm at a party store and give it a try!
FYI - here is a link to the giant balloons covered in tulle: http://bespokeballoonery.com.au/recent-favourite-beautiful-/
Hey! I'm hoping to do these for a bridal shower I'm hosting, Going to do a test run soon. Glad I found out weight was an issue. You can buy plastic sticks that will clip to ballon ends so they'll stand up. Not sure where to find them exactly, I'm sure google can answer that for me haha
