Simple Fall Pumpkin Wreath

Make this sweet DIY fall pumpkin wreath with painted wood pumpkins and burlap!

While I’ve been taking down our Halloween decorations this past week, I do like to keep up some fall décor through Thanksgiving. This simple wood pumpkin wreath that I made for Oriental Trading’s Fun365.com is the perfect wreath to keep up all season long! I have it hanging in our kitchen along with my yarn pumpkin garland for just the right dose of pumpkin cuteness. Read on to see how easy it is to make this wreath with a few supplies.

My favorite way of making a wreath is starting with a basic foam wreath form and wrapping it with burlap, which is an inexpensive alternative to ribbon. From there I layered on some sweet little wood pumpkins that I painted in different shades of orange. I topped each with a pipe cleaner stem.

These pumpkin shapes come in a pack of 12 and can be used for so many fall craft projects. While I covered just half of my wreath with them, you could cover an entire wreath with pumpkins if you like!
