I remember when I first saw the Martha Stewart craft room collection in a Home Decorators catalog a couple years ago - I think my jaw dropped!
The look of the pieces was amazing and their ability to hold a ton of random craft supplies in a beautiful, organized way was something worth oohing and aahing over.
The fact that the collection was modeled after Martha's own craft room in the attic of her Bedford, NY home made the pieces that much more awesome.
So when it came time to think about furniture for my first ever office / craft room, I was so excited to get a few pieces from Home Decorators. They are relatively affordable, and we took advantage of a 25% off sale when we purchased them. You just have to be willing to build them yourself. Thankfully Ross had a month in Texas before we moved down here. He spent a couple lonely nights after work building my office furniture - man I love him!
I am already scheming how I will divvy up my random boxes and bags of supplies neatly in these cabinets:
Now rather than having to go to the girls' bedroom closet for ribbons, under my bed for my craft paints, and to the living room for my scissors and punches I will be able to make just one stop!
P.S. I got this desk too
I haven't even touched my craft room / office yet. Still needs a fresh coat of (pink!) paint and lots of organizing to be done. In the meantime, check out my design for this new dream space if you haven't seen it.
